COLLAGE-PROJECT SERIES. The goal of the Collage Project Series is to create artwork that is fun and engaging for children to look at, but all the more fascinating because of the use of materials with which children identify. All collages are encased in Plexiglas.

BOARD-GAMES COLLAGE. An 8-foot x 4’foot collage created using assorted game boards and pieces of old, new, familiar and unusual board games. This dynamic, colorful collage was lovingly created by Discover the Smile volunteers and hangs in the Pediatric ER Waiting Room of Schneider Children’s Hospital.

WORD SEARCH COLLAGE. A 3 ft by 4 ft collage using wooden ABC blocks to spell words that young children can seek and find has been installed in the Emergency Room at Schneider Children's Hospital. Cards accompany the collage and prompt children to seek out "feel good" words and phrases such as FRIENDSHIP, COURAGE, and FAMILY.

FAST TRACK COLLAGE. A rainbow made up of hundreds of colorful die-cast cars has been installed in the Emergency Room Waiting Area SCH.

Fast-Track Collage

CANDY COLLAGE. Patient, family and staff reaction to our candy murals has been overwhelming, so we have officially commissioned 10 more candy murals. These pieces, which will vary in size and subject matter - including a circus train, astronaut, garden and dinosaurs - will be designed and completed throughout 2006 by Artists Amy Rubinstein and Lisa Cusano.
