To date, we have installed nine computer kiosks at Schneider Children’s Hospital. The first, installed in early 2004 is a three-unit computer kiosk featuring Protozone’s Kaleidodraw software program. The Kaleidodraw Kiosk has allowed budding artists to create colorful, multifaceted images using their selection of pictures and icons. Images from the center computer are broadcast to a large plasma screen mounted above the unit, visible to those inside the glass-walled admitting area. Given the tremendous success of the Kaleidodraw Kiosk, we commissioned eight additional double-unit and single-unit Computer Kiosks. In addition to the unlimited license Discover the Smile has for the Kaleidodraw software, we have acquired several new unlimited licenses for exciting art-oriented software, including Doll House, which enables users to decorate and redecorate every room of a house using hundreds of patterns, colors, textiles and furnishings and Sandy Art, a program that enables users to create wonderful artwork using colored sands.
