SELF-PORTRAIT TILE PROJECT. Each of these lovingly created portraits (measuring one square foot in size) expresses the individuality of its artist, and is filled with vibrant colors and warm happy faces. More than 400 Self-Portraits, painted by the students of Daly Elementary School in Port Washington, New York, have been framed and permanently mounted onto the walls of Schneider Children’s Hospital. Framed and mounted tiles have been installed throughout the Pediatric Department at Schneider Children’s Hospital’s North Shore University Hospital campus, as well.
